Opening LOMA Health & Wellness was a dream that blossomed from both my passion for holistic medicine and my deep love for my four daughters. As a mother, I understand the importance of nurturing not just our bodies, but our minds and spirits as well. I wanted to create a space where families could come together to focus on whole body healing and wellness—an environment where my daughters could learn the value of health, compassion, and the importance of addressing the root causes of health issues. By establishing this practice, I hoped to set an example for them, showing that pursuing your passions and making a positive impact on others’ lives can be both fulfilling and rewarding.
I often get asked where the name LOMA Health & Wellness came from. When I was trying to think of a name for the practice, I wanted to do something to honor our daughters. I decided to use our daughter’s initials in naming the business, as their names are Anna, Audrey, Lola, and Maggie. Of course, our two older daughter’s wanted the Business to be named LAMA Health & Wellness, but that did not stick! They are still a little bitter they share an “A”.
As I reflect on the journey that led to the opening of LOMA Health & Wellness, I’m reminded of the powerful motivation driving this endeavor: my four girls. They are my inspiration and the heartbeat of this practice. By incorporating their initials into the name, I not only honor them but also strive to create a legacy of health and wellness they can be proud of. It is my hope that LOMA Health & Wellness serves the community of Tomball and beyond, providing a safe space for families to explore functional medicine and find healing together.
Ultimately, my “why” is all about empowering my daughters and others to lead healthier, happier lives.
